Legacy and Ceremony Planning
-
You’re the one people lean on — the emotional organizer, the unspoken coordinator, the family glue.
-
You want to plan ahead, but the paperwork, the decisions, the everything feels like too much on your own.
-
You’ve Googled “How to fill out an Advance Directive” more times than you’ll admit… and still don’t feel confident enough to finish it on your own.
-
You crave guidance, but also the chance to hear how other people are doing it — and maybe feel a little less alone.
-
You want to do this right. For yourself, for your people, and for the peace of knowing it’s handled.
This Might Be for You If…
Because doing this alone is hard. Not because you’re unmotivated, but because it’s emotional, confusing, and easy to avoid.
A group creates movement.
Every session with Maureen is focused, compassionate, and action-oriented — so you’re not just thinking about your end-of-life plan, you’re actually making one.
You’ll hear the real stories of others in the room — and suddenly realize, “I’m not the only one struggling with this.”
You’ll show up not just for yourself, but for the other folks walking through it, too.
Gentle accountability. Shared wisdom. A plan you’ll actually complete.

Workshop FAQs
Where are the workshops held?
Workshops are offered both in-person in the Seattle area and virtually via Zoom. Location details — including exact addresses or online access links — are provided right on the registration page, so you can choose the format that works best for you.
What do I need to bring?
Just yourself — and maybe a notebook or a favorite pen. Maureen provides all planning forms and materials, so you’re never left wondering what you’re missing.
What if I miss a session?
Life happens. If you miss a session, you’ll receive a pre-recorded video module covering the content you missed, along with a follow-up email to guide your next steps. You won’t fall behind.
Can I take this workshop again or do the legacy planning series later?
Yes! Many participants come back for the 3-week legacy series, which dives into storytelling, ceremonies, and deeper meaning-making. You’ll hear more about that at the end of your workshop.
This workshop fills quickly.
With only 10 seats per cohort, most sessions book out a week in advance.
Want to Go Deeper?
After your workshop series is complete, you’ll have the option to join an additional legacy planning series — focused on:
-
Creating a legacy letter or video
-
Exploring ceremony & storytelling
-
Honoring what you want to leave behind
Many participants say this is their favorite part of the process.
